— Good to know
Frequently asked
- When does BARE WELLNESS open?
- We open on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi in Q3 2026. Founding members get first access to the schedule and locked-in founding rates. See founding memberships.
- Where exactly is the studio?
- Inside Bloom Arjaan on Saadiyat Island, a short drive from central Abu Dhabi over the Sheikh Khalifa Bridge and minutes from Mamsha Al Saadiyat, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and NYU Abu Dhabi. On-site and valet parking is available for members. Directions are on the contact page.
- What classes do you offer?
- Reformer Pilates, mat Pilates, hot Pilates, vinyasa yoga, hot yoga and barre, plus guided meditation and breathwork sessions. The timetable runs more than sixty classes a week across gentle, moderate and strong intensities.
- What are the two studios?
- The Reformer Studio holds ten reformers and hosts precision strength classes. The Open Studio hosts yoga, mat Pilates, barre and hot mat classes, with infrared heat for the hot sessions.
- Who can attend? Do I need experience?
- Everyone is welcome, from first-timers to seasoned practitioners. Classes are labelled by intensity so you can choose what suits you, and instructors offer modifications. If you have an injury, are pregnant, or have a medical condition, tell us in your profile so the instructor can support you safely.
- What should I wear and bring?
- Fitted, comfortable clothing that lets the instructor see your alignment, and grip socks for reformer and mat classes. For hot classes, bring a towel and water. More detail is in what to wear to Pilates.
- Do I need grip socks?
- Yes, grip socks are required for reformer and mat classes, for hygiene and stability.
- How early should I arrive for my first class?
- Arrive ten minutes early. That gives you time to check in, meet your instructor and get set up before class begins.
- Are the hot classes suitable for beginners?
- Yes. Hot Pilates and hot yoga run under infrared heat, and instructors pace the room so newcomers can settle in. Hydrate before you arrive, bring a towel, and rest whenever you need to.
- How does pricing work at opening?
- You can book with a membership (monthly, with a set number of classes or unlimited), a class pack (credits you use whenever you like), or, where offered, a single drop-in. Full pricing is on the pricing page.
- When do founding memberships open?
- Ahead of the studio itself. Waitlist members hear first, so leave your details on the pricing page to be contacted when they go live.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- You can cancel a booking free of charge up to 6 hours before the class starts, and your credit is returned. Cancelling inside the 6-hour window (or not showing up) forfeits the class, and members on some tiers may incur a no-show fee. The deadline is always shown when you book.
- Do you have a waitlist for full classes?
- Yes. If a class is full you can join the waitlist, and if a spot frees up we'll automatically book you in (if you opted in) and notify you right away.
- Do you offer private sessions?
- Yes, one-to-one sessions are arranged on enquiry. Reach us through the contact page and we will come back to you personally.
- Is there an app?
- Yes. Our iOS app lets you book, manage your membership, check in, and get class reminders. It launches alongside the studio.
- Are you hiring instructors?
- We are building a small founding faculty across Pilates, yoga and barre. If you teach with intention and precision, apply through the careers page.
- Where can I learn more before my first class?
- Our guides cover what to expect from a first class, how often to train, what to wear, and how the practices compare.
